Our Story

In 1978, the Bassett family opened their doors in Indianapolis with a simple promise: provide honest, reliable home services and treat every customer like a neighbor. Nearly 50 years later, that promise still guides everything we do.

Like the basset hound that represents our brand, we’re loyal, persistent, and thorough. We track down problems and fix them right, without shortcuts or unnecessary upsells. It’s a “pack mentality” that puts we before me, focuses on solutions, and never stops learning, because doing the job right and respecting your home matters more than doing it fast.

Growing With the Neighborhoods We Serve

What started as one location in Indianapolis has grown into a team of home service experts across Indiana and Ohio, with locations in Plainfield, Indianapolis, and Lebanon, IN, and Columbus, Dayton, Eaton, and Lewis Center, OH. Along the way, we’ve earned BBB accreditation, NATE-certified technicians, and a partnership with Bryant, but the goal hasn’t changed: no calls we don’t answer, and a 105% satisfaction guarantee on every job.

We approach Adopt a Family, Food Drive, and Back to School Drive to spread joy and support to families in need with the same determination as a “doggedly determined” Bassett hound on a mission.

High School Athletic Sponsorships

All Bassett locations have 3-5 High School Athletic sponsorships or more. We also give back by having sponsor nights to just be in touch “boots on the ground” with the fans.
