Well the first guy that came out to my house this morning first thing he tells me is I don't need batteries in my thermostat I've always been batteries in there it pretty hard time convincing me that they did not need to be there and I'm still not a hundred percent sure he's correct on that because after he left my display was blank there was nothing on there so I couldn't turn up turn down my air conditioner make it colder in my house then he did not flip the switch downstairs so after I've been outside doing some work came in my house is hotter now that's when I called and complained Kevin's always come to my house I don't know why it sent somebody different I appreciate you sending Kevin when it comes to service my house . In the next gentleman that you sent this evening to get my air conditioning working and putting batteries back in my thermostat what she tells me I need them in order for my thermostat to read if the power goes out I would lose everything on that panel somebody that know they're from the hole in ground so the second gentleman that came out in the on the service call put the batteries back inside there must be batteries in there or you'll lose your information so after 10 years of having batteries in in the first person in this morning tells me that I don't need them why would you put batteries in if you don't need them so the second gentleman put the batteries back in the display on the thermos unit on the wall in my living room came back on went downstairs I got first guy didn't flip the switch back on so I had no air so I appreciate you sending Kevin to do service work at my house he knows my house he knows my system I know him it's totally up front with me no this morning the first guy tells me my blower is heating up more amperage in it should I asked a question why he doesn't know why I said should I replace it if it's still under warranty why not replace it while the stuff Center warranty. I flat out told him I'm retired on a fixed income I don't want to wait thing to go out of warranty and then I have to pay more money to fix it . So if Kevin's not available then send the second person that did the service call this evening the second gentleman that came out this evening to the service call said those batteries must be in that system so it sounds like to meet somebody needs to be educated thank you very much for sending somebody out this evening I really appreciate it

Hi Jim, we will make sure to send Kevin or Codie in the future for your appointments. We also reviewed your Thermostat and the way its connected it does not need batteries. The batteries can be added to hold the settings in the event power was lost to save your current settings but are not required. We will go over this in our weekly training.
