Heat pump stopped working late Friday night. Called and within 30 minutes I was speaking with a technician named Jordan. I explained what was going on with the heat pump & he told me he would arrive within the hour. Approximately 30 minutes later he arrived. In less than an hour he diagnosed the problem, checked for the cause of the problem, and made the repair, explaining everything as he went. Jordan was polite, knowledgeable, and focused on his job. He is a fine example of what good customer service should look like.
Service was well performed. Servicemen were friendly and considerate of my home and careful of my home when taking out old unit and installing the new one. There were good to clean up after themselves. The cost was pricier than expected, but I have a geothermal unit and there were several things that had to be replaced and installation took 2 days. So far, the system seems to be working well. The thermostat seems to be off about 3 degrees, so I have to set the temperature different than my last thermostat (warmer temp setting to get the house warm). David was knowledgeable and very friendly. He had answers to all my questions. We are very pleased with him and his assistants.
Dane was our serviceman, he was very polite, treated home with care. He was very thorough, he took extra time to explain everything! I'd recommend Bassett to everyone!!
Dan had a few technical challenges in determining the problem with our system, but was undeterred and continued to troubleshoot. End result, discovered misconfigured thermostat, which damaged the control panel. He also educated us on the necessity of having a humidifier system for our health and wood floors. He installed the humidifier the next day and we're elated with the newfound warmth in the air. Many thanks, Dan and Bassett!!!

Bassett put our geothermal Waterfurnace in several years ago. Bass it's a great company and they have really good service tech.
Standing in line to vote today, I met the owner of a competitor of Bassett. I mentioned that I just had this company out yesterday and the guy said that it's the only company that he does not mind losing a customer to. He stated that, with Bassett, you always get top quality service, excellent knowledge, and a fair price. That's funny because this is exactly what I got with my first experience. I was so happy with the service tech, MIke, that I went ahead and signed up for the yearly service agreement for both the main house and guest house. Hope Mike is the tech that comes out each time as I felt really comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. Many thanks!
