Indoor Air Quality is one of the most important issues regarding the quality of the indoor environment and providing for a cleaner, healthier home.

Bassett Services has taken a lead role in developing an IAQ program that includes testing, duct cleaning, air filtration, ventilation and dehumidification along with installation of the variable speed heating/cooling systems for exact temperature and moisture control and continuous whole-house filtration.

Testing: This includes particle size analysis to determine the levels of small respirable sized particles (those smaller than 2 microns in size) and also determine the overall efficiency of your current filters or filtration systems.

We can also perform mold and bacteria testing to determine the quantity and types of mold that may be present in your home, ductwork or crawl space.

Duct Cleaning: Why should you consider having your ducts cleaned? The ductwork in most homes, (both supply and return) can get dirty and filled with dirt and debris from a number of sources. First, during the initial construction of the home much of the dust from the construction often gets pulled into the duct system when they operate the HVAC units during the final interior construction stage. Secondly, any moisture that may condense in the ductwork during warm, humid weather will allow dirt and dust particles to stick to the interior sections of the duct and third poor or inadequate filters or filtration means more dirt and dust in the returns and supplies.

The Bassett Services duct cleaning program utilizes a large, high capacity, powerful vacuum truck that is specifically designed for removal of all materials in the ducts even in large homes and long duct runs. Compressed air is forced into an isolated duct section from one end and then the air is pulled from the other end using the powerful commercial vacuum truck unit to move and pull the debris from the duct. This is done on every section of the supply and return ducts. We also remove and clean all the registers and we offer optional duct sealing as well.
